Peter Senior will lose full playing rights on the 2015 Champions Tour after finishing mid field at this week’s AT&T Championship.
Senior, who earned his spot on the Tour in
2010 by winning the Qualifying School, is 45th on the Charles Schwab
Cup points list and will not qualify for next week’s Charles Schwab
Championship.
Only the top 30 on the rankings are
guaranteed a spot on the Tour next year and Senior will have to rely on
invitations and some limited starts.
In four years on the Tour Senior has amassed
more than $4.5 million in earnings but 2014 has been difficult with just two
top 10 finishes for the year.
