It was a roller coast round at Huntingdale today for
overnight leader Brad Shilton.

"BradAfter shooting a bogey free 8-under 64 in the first round of
the Mercedes-Benz Truck & Bus Victorian PGA Championship Shilton had a two
shot lead.

Teeing off in the morning field today, Shilton’s scorecard was
far more colourful. With six birdies and four bogeys the 37-year-old New
Zealander fired 2-under 70.

While not playing terrible golf, luck wasn’t on Shilton’s
side but he was still happy to be in the clubhouse on 10-under the card after
two days work.

Today’s round also helped Shilton maintain the clubhouse lead
following the morning field. He leads by three shots from Anthony Houston who
also fired 2-under 70 today.

A further shot back on 5-under the card following two rounds
are Taylor Cooper, Tom Power Horan, Anthony Summers, Neven Basic and Matt
Griffin.

Griffin, who competes on the Japan Golf Tour, fired the best
score of the morning. His 6-under 66 which featured just one bogey, saw him
jump up the leaderboard after starting the day outside the cut number.

 The afternoon field
is now on course with the cut line currently hovering around 1-under the card.
The top-50 professionals and ties will make the final two rounds.

Meanwhile in the Victorian PGA Amateur Challenge Matt
Griffin and his amateur partner Campbell Neal currently sit on top of the
leaderboard.

Of the celebrities on course it’s currently Kerrie-Anne
Kennerley who has bragging rights. Combining well with her Professional Lisa
Jean they are on 67points in the 4BBB format.

A cut to the teams event will be applied tonight with the
top-40 teams coming back tomorrow for the final round of the Victorian PGA
Amateur Challenge.
