Onsite Rental Group has once again thrown its support behind the Mining Towns Series by extending its sponsorship of the swing of events until 2021.

"BrettEntering into their fourth consecutive year as naming rights partner of the Onsite Rental Group Mining Towns Series in 2019, the swing of tournaments forms an important part of the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series with events stretching across the state of Queensland.

In committing to the naming rights sponsorship of the Mining Towns Series for 2020 and 2021, Onsite Rental Group’s partnership also sees an increase in prize money for future tournaments in what is a big step forward for the series that has grown significantly over the past few years.

While professionals will benefit from the prize money increase from 2020, the tournaments are also expected to grow in size with the aim of having a positive impact on local communities throughout the Central Highlands.

The Onsite Rental Group sponsorship provides not only the opportunity for professionals to compete for additional prize money throughout the series, but also recognises the leading three professionals over 13 rounds played on various courses across the Central Highlands region.

Onsite Rental Group Regional Sales Manager for QLD/NT Steve Eyers is excited to be involved with the PGA of Australia in fostering professional golf ahead what is shaping up to be another very successful Onside Rental Group Mining Towns Series.

“Onsite are extremely excited to be the naming rights sponsor of the Onsite Rental Group Mining Towns Series for the fourth consecutive year,” said Eyers.

“Onsite continues to go from strength to strength in the Bowen Basin. With a very exciting year ahead of us it is important that we continue to support the local communities through this event. This series gives us an invaluable opportunity to engage with our clients and suppliers, outside of the working world over a game of golf in their own backyards.

“Last year was a very successful event for us. We hope to see each and every person that attended last year participating again this year. Having a hit alongside the pros is a real thrill and something I would recommend to everyone. We look forward to seeing you all at one of the six courses over the duration of the event.”

Professionals from across Australia will play competitively over six events and 13 rounds as they endeavour to claim the overall Onsite Rental Group Mining Towns Series prize.  Brett Rankin has dominated the last two Onsite Rental Group Mining Towns Series claiming back-to-back series wins.

Professionals must compete in all events to be eligible for the series prize while the leading three professionals with the lowest aggregate score against par for all 13 rounds will be awarded the additional Onsite Rental Group Series prizes.
