After a top-20 finish in the first event of the season, Sydney’s Kevin Yuan will be looking to consolidate his position on the PGA Tour China Series money list this week.

""Yuan is one of 11 Australasians teeing up at the Chongqing Championship at Poly Golf Club, the second of 14 events planned for the year.

Rounds of 71-69-68-70 suggest Yuan’s game is in good shape as he was 10-under for the 72 holes in a low scoring tournament in Chengdu last week when T17.

He will be keen to keep that form going and move up the money list this week with the incentive of Web.com Tour status on offer for those who are among the top-5 earners at season’s end.

Also playing this week are Sam Earl, Corey Hale, DJ Loypur, David Lutterus, James Marchesani, Peter Martin, Max McCardle, Andrew Schonewille, Sean Underwood and New Zealand’s Luke Toomey.
