Greg Turner has recovered from a disappointing missed cut at last week’s Senior PGA with a top-15 finish at the Staysure Tour’s Shipco Masters in Denmark.

Turner was one of three Australasians in the field for the third event of the season and posted a 3-under total for the 54 holes to share 15^th place.

Peter Fowler and Mike Harwood were also in the field, Fowler even par for the week and T25 while Harwood was further back in a share of 40^th.

All three made slow starts to the tournament, both Fowler and Turner posting opening scores of 73 while Harwood signed for a 76.

The tournament attracted some extra attention with the presence of Dame Laura Davies in the field, the 54-year-old finishing 44^th in the 60-player field at 8-over for the week.

The Shipco tournament was the third to be played on the 2018 schedule which begins in earnest this month.

A week off next week will be followed by a run of four straight events in the lead up to the Senior Open in late July.
