After two weeks in New Zealand, the PGA Tour of Australasia has returned home for the Coca-Cola Queensland PGA Championship at City Golf Club in Toowoomba from March 17-20.
Now in its 90th year, the Coca-Cola Queensland PGA Championship lays claim to a host of famous Australian Professional winners including Greg Norman, Ian Baker-Finch, Peter Senior and Steven Bowditch.
This week will see two former winners, Darren Beck (2008) and Kurt Barnes (2004), grace the fairways together with 2016 Victorian PGA champion and former Web.com Tour Professional, Ashley Hall, Web.com Tour winner, James Nitties, 2015 NZ PGA champion and PGA Tour of Australasia Player of the Year,
Matt Millar, 2014 Fiji International winner, Steven Jeffress, and 2012 Australian PGA champion, Daniel Popovic.
Professionals will all be vying for their share of the AU$125,000 prize purse, with the winner receiving Official World Golf Ranking Points and full exemption on to the PGA Tour of Australasia for the remainder of this season plus a further two years.
This week is a celebration of golf throughout the Toowoomba community with a number of activations taking place during the week, including a Junior Golf Clinic at Harristown High School.
Spectators are welcome to attend the Coca-Cola Queensland PGA Championship with free entry to the tournament across all four days.
A final round hospitality package is available for Sunday in the VIP marquee on the 18th, tickets, which include drinks and canapes, can be purchased from the City Golf Club for $75.
