Tim Hart has continued his stellar form in Central Queensland, claiming victory by one shot at the inaugural Komatsu Emu Park Golf Club Pro-Am after firing a round of 8-under 64.

"TimClear blue skies and perfect playing conditions greeted professionals for the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series event where a fast-finishing Hart reeled off an eagle and four birdies in his final six holes to storm home at the stunning Emu Park Golf Club.

“My hot finish was incredible today,” said Hart.

“I rolled a good putt in for eagle on the 1st hole, which was my sixth last hole for the day and then everything just clicked from that point on.

“This was my first time seeing the course and it is fairly impressive, the views on some of the tees are amazing.”

Finishing tied for second place were Jay Mackenzie and Brett Rankin with rounds of 7-under 65.

“This is my best finish on the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series and I’m thrilled,” said Mackenzie.

“I just went out there and tried to play today with no expectations and this approach has paid off.”

Experienced professional Brett Rankin joined Hart in praising staff for the immaculate presentation of the course in the first staging of the event.

“The course was presented in great condition for the pro-am and is a credit to all involved,” said Rankin.

The next stop on the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series is the Tin Can Bay Country Club for the Tin Can Bay Pro-Am supported by the Gympie Regional Council.
