Brad Burns has fired an even-par round of 71 to claim the Tropical Auto Group Yeppoon Legends Pro-Am.
Burns finished at 3-under for the 36 holes, one shot ahead of Craig Warren and pre-tournament favourite Peter Senior.
This is Burns’ second win of 2018, with his first coming at the Fiji Legends Classic last month.
“It’s great to get a win here at Yeppoon. I certainly didn’t play my best out on course today, but I hung in there and was able to get the job done,” said Burns.
“This is a great way to start the swing of tournaments being played in Queensland, so hopefully I can continue to improve on things with my game and put myself in a position to win more events over the next few weeks.”
Senior will no doubt rue his finish in yesterday’s opening round, after finishing 4-over on his final three holes to shoot an even-par 71.
Professionals will now continue to enjoy the warmer weather of the Capricorn Coast over the weekend before traveling to Bargara for their annual Legends Pro-Am which tees off on Tuesday.
