Professional Jacob Boyce has continued his good form to claim victory in the Finco Solutions Pioneer Valley Pro-Am firing a fine score of 7-under par 65 to win by two shots from Sung Park.

""Sunshine Coast based Boyce’s round included six birdies a bogey and the highlight of his round an eagle coming at the 522 metre par-5, 7th Hole where he holed his chip shot.

“It was fairly windy out here today, especially out the back of the course where the holes are much more exposed," said Boyce.

"You had to be careful with club selection, I struck the ball well, I felt I gave myself a lot of birdie opportunities, I got on a roll midway through the round with a lip out for eagle followed by two birdies which really got things going.

“I’m thrilled to walk away with the win here and I am looking forward to continuing this good form into the next event."

Sydney based Professional Sung Park fired a 5-under par 67 to finish outright second.

Park’s round included six birdies and just one bogey recording his best finish so far this year on the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series.

The next best placed professional was Nick Russell finishing a further shot back on a score of 4-under par 68.

The next stop on the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series will be the Mackay Golf Club on Monday 25th & Tuesday 26th June where play begins at 7am.
