Having lost full playing rights for the Champions Tour in 2014 Peter Senior earns his first start of the year on the over 50’s circuit at this week’s ACE Group Classic.

Senior, one of Australia’s
most successful Champions Tour players, posted one of his best results of 2014
at this event when finishing T11 in a season that had few highlights.

Having finished outside the
top-15 on the money list just once in five years the three time Australian PGA
Champion tumbled to 44^th last year and will have limited playing
opportunities in 2015 as a result.

However, regarded as one of
the grittiest players of his generation the added pressure may be just what is
required to get the most out of his game and it wouldn’t surprise to see the
55-year-old contend this week.
