Peter O’Malley has posted his best European
Senior Tour result since his debut tournament in 2015 with a T15 finish at the
Jersey Open.

The 51-year-old celebrated his appointment
as the Chairman of the Board of the PGA of Australia in style with a 3-under
tournament total.

O’Malley battled to an opening round 73 but
picked up the pace in the final two rounds with back to back scores of 2-under
70 to climb the leader board each of the last two days.

With Peter Fowler teeing up in the US at
the Senior Players Championship Mike Harwood was the only other Australian in
the field in Jersey and finished one behind O’Malley at T21.
