The 2015 PGA Tour of Australasia Player of the Year teed up this week fresh from a top-20 finish at the Nexus Risk TSA Group WA Open.
Firing 5-under 67, Millar secured a one shot victory over New South Welshman, Taylor Cooper and Mitchell A. Brown.
"The course was fantastic and it has really set up a great week I hope," said Millar, who will also be in the field at the TX Civil & Logistics WA PGA Championship in Kalgoorlie, which tees off next Thursday.
The WA/SA Swing of the PGA Pro-Am Series moves to the picturesque Joondalup Country Club today in what is a very big week for players from all over Australia and The Pacific region.
Notable Professionals in action over the next few days around Western Australia include, Oates Vic Open winner Michael Long, Scott Strange, Kym Felton and Stephen Leaney; together with some of the game’s brightest young stars such as Braden Becker and reigning NSW PGA champion, Jarryd Felton.
