After a disappointing finish at last week’s Guilin Championship Max McCardle will be looking to improve his money list position when the PGA TOUR Series China plays the Kunming Championship.

""McCardle is the only Australasians presently inside the top 30 on the earnings table with the top five at the end of the season awarded access to the Web.com Tour.

After a strong showing in Western Australia two weeks ago, where he lost a play-off to Braden Becker at the Nexus Risk Services South West Open, McCardle arrived in China confident of playing some good golf.

While that didn’t materialise last week his resolve will only be strengthened in Kunming where he is joined by 13 other Australasians.

Sam Earl, James Gibellini, Corey Hale, Deyen Lawson, Bryden Macpehrson, James Marchesani, Peter Martin, Kevin Yuan, Chris Wood, DJ Loypur, Andrew Schonewille and New Zealanders Campbell Rawson and Luke Toomey are also in the field.

Deyen Lawson was the best of the Australasians last week with a T12 result after Monday qualifying and will be keen to keep that form going.
