Brody Martin has taken a two-stroke win at the Campbelltown Golf Club Pro-Am with a total of 7-under in smoky New South Wales conditions.
Martin backed up an opening round of 3-under 67 with the lowest score of the final day, a round of 4-under 66 to lead Cody Harper and Tim Hart into the clubhouse.
Hot conditions tested the field of 49 but an acclimatised Martin was able to capitalise at the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series event.
“The last two days have been tough given the weather and I’m so impressed with the golf course given the lack of rain in the area,” Martin said.
“Hopefully I can continue this form into next week’s Australian PGA.”
An opening round of 6-under 64 saw Campbelltown club professional Cody Harper secure the overnight lead only to falter in round two for a total of 5-under 135.
Reigning champion Tim Hart extended his National Pro-Am Order of Merit lead with a tie for second place at 5-under.
Leigh McKechnie, Benjamin Clementson and Taylor Cooper tied for fourth place at 4-under the card.
The pro-am was the third of its kind in an effort to raise much-needed funds for the Scott Martyn Foundation in support of sufferers of Cystic Fibrosis.
