Peter Senior has one last chance to earn back full playing rights for the 2016 Champions Tour when he tees up at the last regular event of the season at the Toshiba Classic this week.

Senior, who was listed as first alternate as late as yesterday but is now in the field, likely needs to finish in the top-3 to have a chance to regain his card.

The top-30 money leaders at the end of this week will be awarded full cards for next year, with Senior currently sitting 38th and needing in excess of $100,000 to have a chance at making the grade.

Senior’s best finish in the event was a T3 two years ago but with the pressure on it would be no surprise to see him improve on that this week.

Known for his tenacity and ability to perform under pressure, it would be no surprise to see the 56-year-old contending Sunday and perhaps even notching his maiden Champions Tour win.
