The Emirates Australian Open has a star studded field with some of the best players in the world teeing it up at The Australian in Sydney this week.

"AdamReturning to defend his title is World Number 1 Jordan Spieth who is joined by fellow Americans George McNeill and US Amateur Champion Bryson DeChambeau.

Jetting in from the European Tour’s season ending tournament are Darren Clarke and Lee Westwood as well as another American young gun Peter Uihlein and Aussie Marcus Fraser.

Fresh from his win at the UNIQLO Masters Peter Senior will be aiming to claim the next leg of the PGA Tour of Australasia’s Triple Crown.

Standing in his way will be the highest ranked Aussie in the field, World Number 12 Adam Scott as well as John Senden, Marc Leishman and Geoff Ogilvy.

With so many stars in the field there are plenty of marquee groups to follow on Thursday including:

Morning field, all off the 10th tee:
6.45am – Rod Pampling, Daniel Chopra and Jinho Choi
6.55am – Peter Senior, Brett Rumford and Bryson DeChambeau
7.05am – Jordan Spieth, Lee Westwood and Geoff Ogilvy
7.15am – Greg Chalmers, Steven Bowditch and Darren Clarke
7.25am – Nick Cullen, Peter Fowler and Michael Hendry

12pm – George McNeill, Nick O’Hern and Cameron Smith
12.10pm – Adam Scott, John Senden and Nicolas Colesaerts
