A confident Peter Fowler will attempt to win his third European Senior Tour title of the year at this week’s French Riviera Masters on a course where his track record is exceptional.

Fowler, who won the tournament in 2013, has never finished outside the top-5 since the event moved to the Terre Blanche Resort in 2012.

A T5 result that year was followed by victory the following season and in 2014 he shared third place behind runaway winner Philip Golding.

2015 has been another brilliant year on the over 50’s circuit for Fowler with two of his five career Senior victories coming in back to back weeks earlier this year.

He shared the lead through 36 holes of the US Senior Open and posted a top 10 at the Senior Open at Sunningdale in July.
