A field of 43 players teed it up at the Ladbrokes Legends Tour event in support of a great cause.

Gusting winds did little to deter the front-runners who beat much-needed rain into the Easts Leisure and Golf clubhouse with rounds of 2-under 69.

“I’ve been working really hard on my chipping and I’d like to thank my fellow Legends Tour players that have been trying to help me,” Aisbett said.

“I played with our host today Michael Holden and I’d like to thank him for his hard work in organising this event.”

Brad Burns continued a strong run to claim third place at 1-under the card alongside Tim Elliott.

Donald Edwards, Simon Tooman, Allan May and David Hill finished in a tie for fifth place at even-par.

The Ladbrokes Legends Tour now moves to the Stacks Finance Taree Legends Pro-Am.
