After a brilliant start to the Web.com Finals Series Cameron Percy and Rod Pampling have a big opportunity to push for their 2017 PGA TOUR cards at this week’s second event in Idaho.

""The pair finished T10 at last week’s DAP Championship and
stand T8 on the mini money list which will run for the four event series and
determine 25 cards for next year’s TOUR.

In what was a good week for the Australian contingent, six
of the seven players who teed up last week find themselves inside the top-25
but with three events to go all know there is work to be done.

Stuart Appleby stands 12th on the money list while Rhein
Gibson, Brett Drewitt and Cameron Smith are all sharing 23rd. Matt Jones
withdrew after an opening round 73 last week and will need to produce some good
golf over the coming weeks to play his way back to the TOUR.

This week’s Boise Open is one of the oldest events on the
secondary Web.com Tour and most of the Australians in the field have played
here previously though not for several years.

Brett Drewitt and Rhein Gibson were both in the field last
year though failed to make the cut (the event wasn’t part of the play-offs in
2015) while Appleby last played the tournament in 1995 when he finished T8.

Matt Jones missed the cut in his last appearance in 2012 but
was T5 when a member of the Web.com Tour in 2007, his best finish in six
attempts.

Pampling and Percy both played in 2014 when Pampling missed
the cut and Percy finished T68, though Pampling did post a T3 result 15 years
ago.

The final Australian in the field, Cameron Smith, makes his
debut at the tournament this year and brings some decent form after producing
steady golf last week.
