The masters of golf and cricket will be in full swing out Kooralbyn Valley Golf Resort next month with Peter Senior, Wayne Grady, Jeff Thomson and Ian Davis taking part in the Ramada Resort Kooralbyn Valley Pro-Am from 3-4 October.
Peter Senior has won more than twenty tournaments around the world and is the Kooralbyn Valley course record holder with a score of 61. He will be returning to take on Queensland’s most challenging course once again in next month’s event.
Jeff “Thommo” Thomson is not only a fast bowling cricket legend but also the new ambassador for Ramada Resort Kooralbyn Valley.
“I’m excited to be a part of it all and promote the resort and golf course to the public and friends. I look forward to playing a lot of golf and having fun,” said Thommo.
Fellow former Australian cricketer Ian “Wiz” Davis will tee off alongside his mate on day one of the pro-am.
Part of the Ladbrokes PGA Pro-Am Series, Kooralbyn’s pro-am will be a mixed golf competition between professionals, celebrities and amateurs taking on the challenge of the 18-hole championship golf course, with a $25,000 pro purse, plenty of prizes and a chance to win a golf cart for a hole in one.
Amateur trophies and prizes to five placings and presentation dinners both nights will make this an exciting event for all. Spectators are welcome.
Entries are currently being accepted for amateurs, closing 26th September.
