Professionals Daniel McGraw and Brett Rankin have been declared joint winners of the 2018 Lunar Mining Emerald Pro-Am.

""McGraw started the final round two shots off the pace and fired a solid 3-under 67 for a tournament total of 8-under par 132.

“I’ve been a professional for 6 years but this is my first trip to the Mining Towns,” said McGraw.

“It’s great to be here the courses are fantastic and the people are so hospitable.

“I played well today but scoring was difficult with some tough pin positions and that wind made it hard to make birdies.”

Brett Rankin continues his run of good form making it four wins in a row on the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series following his rounds of 63 and 69 for his 8-under par 132.

“I hit the ball well again today but I just didn’t take advantage of my opportunities,” said Rankin.

The next best placed professionals were Mitchell McComas and Nick Russell who finished a further shot back for a total of 7-under par 133.

Queenslander Brett Rankin holds the lead for the Onsite Rental Group Mining Towns Series on 14-under par and has a four shot lead over Paul Hayden and Nick Russell who are currently placed at 10-under par.

The next stop on the Onsite Rentals Mining Towns Series will be the Moranbah Golf Club where play begins at 7.00am Tuesday morning for the Moranbah Mini Earthmoving Pro-Am.
