Josh Younger has been the surprise package at the Singha Corporation Thailand Open leading the US$1 million tournament after an 8-under 64 round three gave him a one stroke lead ahead of Korean, Kim Kyung-Tae.
Kyung-Tae started the third round in a share for the lead but Younger quickly broke away and from the 13th holed four birdies in a row from inside eight feet.
"The swing felt pretty good, I hit some good shots and the putts were going in," Younger told OneAsia.
"I made a few birdies on the front nine and was just holding ground as it was a tight leaderboard but then four birdies on the trot saw me move up."
The Melbourne local will tee off in the final round of the Singha Corporation Thailand Open at approximately 2:00pm AEST Sunday.
