WA Open secures co-naming rights sponsors

GolfWA is delighted to announce the support of co-naming rights sponsors Nexus Risk Services and the TSA Group ahead of November’s WA Open at Royal Fremantle Golf Club.

GolfWA is delighted to announce the support of co-naming rights sponsors Nexus Risk Services and the TSA Group ahead of November’s WA Open at Royal Fremantle Golf Club.

"RoyalThe excitement is building for a huge summer of golf in
Australia, and the Nexus Risk TSA Group WA Open Championship will be Perth’s
premier professional golf tournament in 2015, which will be held from 5-8 November.

As a first time sponsor, the TSA Group spoke of playing a
role in supporting an event that is so important to the Western Australian
golfing community.

"TSA is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 2015 Nexus
Risk TSA Group WA Open," said TSA CEO Luke Kenny.

"This new sponsorship reflects TSA’s commitment to
partnering with community organisations and events to support their ongoing
success and development. TSA Group is an industry-leading provider of
telemarketing and order processing services across Australia and the
Philippines."

"Our sponsorship of the 2015 Nexus Risk TSA Group WA Open
will help engage the local community and foster the growth of golf in Western
Australia. We are delighted to be associated with Golf WA and are looking
forward to developing our partnership through future sponsorship
opportunities," added Kenny.

As a long-time supporter of the WA Open, and as GolfWA’s
preferred insurance provider to its member clubs, Nexus Risk Services was
delighted to welcome the TSA Group into the WA golfing community.

"The 2015 Nexus Risk TSA Group WA Open will be our sixth
year as a co-naming rights sponsor, and we look forward to working with TSA
Group in staging another superb professional event in Western Australia," said
Nexus Risk Services Managing Director Mark Patterson.

GolfWA Chief Executive Gary Thomas was thrilled with the
news of TSA Group joining Nexus Risk Services as co-naming rights
sponsors.

"Nexus Risk Services have been a great supporter of golf in WA
for many years supporting the WA Open as well as many other golfing events and
to have a company of the quality of TSA Group come on board will ensure a very
successful 2015 WA Open," said Thomas.

Running from 5-8 November, the Nexus Risk TSA Group WA
Open provides a crucial opportunity for WA’s next generation of golf stars, as
they test their abilities against an elite field.

After finishing T13 at last year’s event, 17-year-old Min
Woo Lee is just one young Western Australian to keep an eye on.

Not only will
the Royal Fremantle junior enjoy home course advantage, he is likely to draw a
huge following from the proud and loyal membership base.

But it will be a tough ask for any amateur, with some big
names confirmed in the field including reigning NZ Open champion Jordan Zunic
and five time WA Open winner Stephen Leaney.

Many more are expected to join the start list, but it is
unconfirmed if New Zealand’s Ryan Fox will be able to return from Europe to
compete as defending champion, after using the WA Open as a launchpad for a
stunning twelve months of golf.

At Cottesloe Golf Club in 2014, Fox cruised home to win by
six shots over runner-up Stephen Dartnall, with an imposing final score of
23-under par with rounds of 64, 66, 68, and 67.

Fox has been in superb form since his inaugural victory on
the PGA Tour of Australasia, winning again at the Queensland PGA Championship.
In Europe, Fox earned another title on the Challenge Tour while qualifying for,
and finishing T49, at The Open.

The Nexus Risk TSA Group WA Open provides a unique
opportunity for golf fans to get up and close to these Touring Professionals,
with free entry and the ability to walk the fairways.

It’s an experience only afforded to the VIPs at most tour
events, but event organisers and sponsors are excited to give the Perth’s
golfing fans this rare insight into the abilities of Australia’s most talented
golfers.
