Tour arrives at the BMW NZ Open


The PGA Tour of Australasia has arrived in Queenstown for the 2015 BMW NZ Open to be played from 12 -15 March.

The PGA Tour of Australasia has arrived in Queenstown for the 2015 BMW NZ Open to be played from 12 -15 March.

"ThePlayed across two courses, The Hills and Millbrook Resort,
the layouts not only challenge the player’s skill but provide them some of the
most sunning vistas whilst teeing it up.

Throw in the ANZ Celebrity Challenge, the tournament is played
under a similar format to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the BMW NZ Open is
truly a unique week of golf on the PGA Tour of Australasia.

Celebrities showing off their game alongside the
Professionals include Ricky Ponting, Sir Viv Richards, Shane Warne and Sir Ian
Botham.

Renowned as one of the best weeks on Tour, players will be
enjoying all that Queenstown has to offer as a tourist destination but once
inside the ropes at The Hills and Millbrook they will be concentrating on
claiming the title.

It has been a long time since a New Zealand name was
engraved on the trophy however that could all change this week.

Josh Geary will be leading the Kiwi charge after finished
the leading New Zealand player in Auckland last week.

Other New Zealand players to watch include Ryan Fox, Michael
Hendry, Mark Brown and Gareth Paddison.

Aussie Dimitrios Papadatos will be doing everything in his
power to retain his BMW NZ Open trophy however he will have plenty of challengers.

Also in the field this week are Brendan Jones, Brad Kennedy,
Nick Cullen and a strong contingent from the Japan Tour.

The BMW NZ Open Championship is sure to be
another exciting week of golf on and off the course!
