After staging 20 successful Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series tournaments, the Lismore Workers Golf Club played host to the Ladbrokes Legends Tour today for the very first time.
Lucien Tinkler fired a 6-under par 64 to secure the inaugural event.
Tinkler won by four shots from Michael Harwood and Chris Hollingsworth, who shot the leading score from the morning field.
“It’s great to win the inaugural Legends Pro-Am at Lismore, especially when my great mate Peter Jaeger in the driving force behind the tournament,” said Tinkler.
“I just couldn’t do anything wrong out there today. I drove the ball well, hit my irons solid and holed a fair share of the putts.
“The form has been good of late, so I am really looking forward as we head into Byron Bay on Friday.”
The Legends will now make their way east to Byron Bay, with the Australian Legends Tour Championship teeing off on Friday.
