After missing the first two events of the new Champions Tour season because of a virus Peter Senior returns to the US refreshed and ready to go at this week’s Tucson Conquistadores Classic.

"PeterSenior, who made a successful transition to the short putter at the Perth International three weeks ago, will be extra motivated for every event he tees up in in 2016 having announced this will be his last season playing full time on the over 50’s circuit.

At 56 there is almost nothing left for the reigning Australian Masters champion to achieve in the game aside from a victory on the Champions Tour.

Having made history at the end of last year with his magical win at Huntingdale, it would be fitting for Senior’s career to be completed with a win in the US.

He will be joined in this week’s field by Craig Parry who has already played each of the opening two events of the 2016 season.

Parry, a multiple winner around the world, hasn’t quite found his feet on the Champions Tour yet with some untidy mistakes in each of his first two events proving costly.

With Senior now back in America full time the pair will likely push each other along and it would be no surprise to see one or both in the mix come Sunday.
