Peter Senior’s game appears to be trending in the right direction, the 55-year-old posting his third top-25 in five starts at the Encompass Championship this week.
Senior has been struggling with injury for
more than a year and was forced to withdraw as recently as two events ago with
tendonitis in his left elbow.
But he found some form this week with scores
of 68-72-68 to be 8-under-par and T13, his second best finish of the year.
Those scores were good enough to see him take
honours as top Australian also with Steve Elkington, making a rare Champions
Tour appearance, two shots further back and T21.
