Firing rounds of 67 and 64 over the two days for a 9-under the card total, Rankin secured the back-to-back win after claiming the Boyne Island Pro-Am earlier in the week.
"This is the perfect platform for travelling to the Northern Territory. The course was challenging and well presented and to win ahead of a strong field like this is really confidence building," said Rankin
"I have been working really hard on my short game with my coach, Matthew Ballard. It is great, the hard working is paying off."
"The Maryborough Pro-Am is renowned among the Professionals because of the great hospitality we receive and this year has been no different."
The Maryborough Pro-Am has seen many international stars over recent years with the likes of Scott Hend, Rhein Gibson and Steven Jeffress all winning on international tours since playing in Maryborough.
The Professionals will now make their way to Palmerston in the Northern Territory where they will contest the inaugural NT PGA Championship.
