Queenslander Tod Power will take a three shot lead into the final round of the 2015 Australian Legends Tour Championship at Byron Bay Golf Club.

"TodAfter an opening round of 1-over73, Power recorded seven birdies and two bogeys on his way to a round of 67 to be 4-under par for the tournament.

Overnight leader Rodger Davis led by as many as three shots early in the second round, until three bogeys and a double bogey on the back-9 saw him finish with 75 and sitting 1-under for the tournament.

The big names certainly made their presence felt during the second round with Ian Baker-Finch and PeterSenior both carding 1-under 71 to be even and 1-over par respectively for the tournament.

Mike Harwood also finds himself in the mix at even par after shooting 74 today and all are within striking distance of Power but will need to produce the form which saw each of them lift the trophy over recent years.

Tod Power who represented Australia in the International Challenge against China last week, talked about having such high calibre players in the chasing pack.

"It is hard not to think about it given the number of tournament wins they have had between them though all I can really do is just relish the opportunity," said Power.

"I played really nicely today and I am confident that if I can play anywhere near that tomorrow, I won’t be far away."

"I have only won one event this year, down at Catalina Country Club and therefore although I feel like I have had a strong year, winning tomorrow would really top it off."
