Web.com Tour / Albertsons Boise Open
Oliver Goss has had no trouble transitioning into Professional golf after turning Pro in 2014 and has been a consistent player in his rookie year on the Web.com Tour.
Goss produced his best finish in May at the Nova Scotia Open ending his week at T6 and currently sits inside the top-50 on the money list. As we move into the business end of the season, a top-25 finish is needed to earn the West Australian a PGA TOUR card for the 2016 season.
PGA Tour / John Deere Classic
On his quest to break into the top-125 on the FedEx Cup standings 2015 has seen mixed results for Cameron Percy, with 18 starts delivering only one top-10 finish at the AT&T Byron Nelson in May.
Percy needs a solid finish at this week’s John Deere Classic to climb into the top-125 for a crack at the lucrative end of the season. The John Deere Classic also concludes The Open Qualifying Series with one qualifying place available to the leading player (not otherwise exempt) who finishes in the top 5 and ties.
Japan Golf Tour / Musee Platinum Open 2015
With his Open berth secured, Scott Strange will be using the Musee Platinum Open as a warm up before his start at the Old Course next week; gained courtesy of his second place finish at the Mizuno Open in May and his best finish this season.
The Japan Golf Tour has been happy hunting ground for Strange, with two top-5 finishes from seven starts this year and is a good indication that a win could be just around the corner.
European Tour / Scottish Open
It’s been a quiet few months for John Senden who has collected three top-10 finishes from 19 starts on the PGA TOUR this season.
A top-5 finish at the WGC Cadillac Match Play in May, followed by a top-10 finish at the ISPS HANDA Global Cup on the Japan Golf Tour have been his best finishes this season. A maiden victory on the European Tour would be a nice way for Senden to end the week ahead of The Open.
European Senior Tour / Senior Open
Since opening his European Seniors Tour campaign with a second place finish at the Wales Senior Open, Fowler has continued to dominate the seniors’ circuit in Europe, which has included back-to-back victories at the Acorn Jersey Open and PGA Seniors Championship.
With four top-10 finishes from six starts – thanks to a putter that’s been on fire all season – it’s not surprising to see Fowler in second place on the Seniors Tour Order of Merit.
