Just like the weather in Darwin, scoring at the Northern
Territory PGA Championship was hot in the third round.

"JordanStarting the day with a five shot lead, Jordan Zunic was
chased down by the field today with the final round set to be a showdown at
Palmerston Golf Course.

Shooting 2-under the card, Zunic has clung to his lead but
will start the final round with just a two shot advantage.

"Things didn’t go quite as smoothly for me today as they
have the last couple of days but golf is like that," said Zunic.

"You are going to have days that are a grind. I just tried
my best to have the lowest round I could today. To hold on to the lead going
into tomorrow is awesome."

Matthew Millar, the 2015 PGA Tour of Australasia Player of
the Year, leads the charge with his 6-under 65 pegging back Zunic’s lead.

"I’m happy with the way I played but just a little unhappy
with the finish. I was 7-under with five holes to go. Putting it in
perspective, if you had given me 65 at the start of the day I would have taken
it," said Millar, who last year recorded a victory at the New Zealand PGA
Championship as well as four runner-up finishes.

"As well as Jordan has played the first two days, I thought
if I could get close to 18-under that would be a really good chance to win.
That mark might be enough and it might not be."

"It is good to be up there, that’s what I play for. I have
had a lot of seconds this last year but I wouldn’t mind putting another win on
the board. That’s the goal."

Sitting a shot further back from Millar on 10-under the card
are Max McCardle (SA) and Tim Hart (QLD).

Victorian Kristopher Mueck rounds out the top-5 with his
3-under 68 taking him to a three round total of 9-under the card.

Equalling the best round of the tournament, New South
Welshman Lincoln Tighe fired a bogey-free 7-under 64 to catapult him up to outright
8th on the leaderboard.

The final round of the Northern Territory PGA
Championship will tee off at 9.30am with the final group of Jordan Zunic, Tim
Hart and Matt Millar on course at 11am.
