"My game has been very consistent over the past few months and although my form has been good, I am pleasantly surprised to have a four shot lead heading into the weekend," said Mueck.

"Last year’s Open has no doubt assisted me with the way I go about playing the Royal Port Moresby Golf Club, with a number of holes requiring you to be in the fairway to set up a good approach to the green," said Mueck.
"Although my confidence is high at the moment, the putts are still going to need to fall over the weekend if I am going to give myself a chance of lifting the trophy come Sunday."
