Consistent, Millar has fired two consecutive bogey free rounds of 64 to sit
atop the leaderboard on 14-under the card.

Darren Beck
finds himself in outright second and three shots off the pace, while Brett
Rankin, Tim Hart and first round leader Mitchell A. Brown are all in a tie for third
on 9-under the card.

Millar
is enjoying the warmer weather in Central Queensland as he uses the event to
acclimatise for the upcoming ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia Northern Territory
PGA Championship.

"Being
from Canberra, it is always nice to make the journey up to Queensland and play
four round golf at this time of the year," said Millar.

"The
past two days have been all about finding the fairways and greens. The length
of the Yeppoon course plays into my hands and offers me plenty of wedge shots
into the greens to set up birdie opportunities."

"I
am feeling good about my game, so hopefully I will continue to see the putts
fall over the weekend."

The
2016 Yeppoon Golf Classic has been proactive in providing female Professionals
a further incentive to play, offering a separate prize purse to that of the
main tournament.

Although
there are only two competing this year, Katelyn Must currently leads by six
shots over Alexandra Orchard.

The
Club’s aim is to see more female Professionals competing in the future and
hopes that the female prize purse will act as a catalyst to achieving this.

Round
three tees off at 6:45am Friday, with the leaders scheduled to tee off at 12pm.

The Sunshine
Swing forms part of the PGA Pro-Am Series which comprises of 200 events
Australia wide.

important part in the development of Australia’s Professional Golfers whilst
also growing the game at a grass roots level by engaging an estimated 48,000
amateur golfers each year.
