As the Champions Tour season reaches the halfway mark this week David McKenzie has a chance to push the reset button ahead of a strong push to the end of the year.

""The 50-year-old has played well in patches in his first full season on the senior circuit but his yet to consistently produce the sort of golf he is capable of on a regular basis.

A T3 in his fourth start of the year has been the highlight so far but with the 14th of 28 events being played this week, there is time for McKenzie to find form.

He currently sits 50th on the season-long Charles Schwab Cup table but needs to be in the top-36 to ensure he has full privileges in 2019 and that will be his goal in the second half of the year.

He tees up at this week’s American Family Insurance Championship well aware that a run of big events is just around the corner, the US Senior Open and Senior Open Championship among them, and that will be front of mind in Wisconsin.
