Queenslander Brad Kennedy has claimed the Holden NZ PGA
Championship at Remuera Golf Club.

Heading into the final round with a share of the lead,
Kennedy opened with a birdie and never looked back.

Managing to keep his playing partner Josh Geary at bay
throughout the final round, a birdie at the last ensured Kennedy claimed the
title.

He was victorious by two shots over Geary, who finished the
leading New Zealander and New South Welshman Neven Basic.

Kennedy adds this to the New Zealand Open title he won at
Clearwater in 2011.
