The Barwon Heads Cleaning Supplies Portarlington Pro-Am has been won by Andrew Kelly in turbulent conditions at Portarlington Golf Club.
Difficult morning conditions greeted players, where intermittent rain and 40km winds lashed the course.
Scores reflected the tough conditions; however it was Kelly who took advantage of a calmer afternoon to record a round of 4-under 68, including three birdies and an eagle.
“I haven’t won for three years so it’s great to be back on the winners list,” said Kelly.
“The course is amazing; it was an absolute pleasure to get the opportunity to play today.”
Finishing one-shot off the lead was Alex Edge, who managed a round of 3-under par to take second place.
Brad Lamb lead the morning field, firing a 2-under 70 round that featured two birdies and an eagle to see him tie for third with seven players including Ryan Lynch and Peter Wilson.
The Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series moves to Kooringal Golf Club on 13 February for the Kooringal Pro-Am.
