Brendan Jones replicated his consistent play of last week to take top Australian honours again this week on the Japan Tour, the 40-year-old rounding into form nicely in time for the big end of year events.

Jones, the most successful Japan Tour
player in Australia’s history, has struggled to get back to his best after
almost two years dealing with a wrist injury and surgeries.

While the wrist hasn’t bothered him this
year the 13 time Tour winner has battled to consistently produce his best golf
though there have been positive signs in the past fortnight.

A final round 67 last week was his best
scores since May and saw him to a top-20 finish while this week’s rounds of
72-73-70-70 took him to T15.

Japan Tour rookie Won Joon Lee finished one
shot further back and T20 with Adam Bland (T22), Scott Strange and David Smail
(T45) and Matt Griffin (T59) the other Australasians to make the cut.
