Challenge Tour veteran Daniel Gaunt and
rookie David Bransdon have made it a great week for Australia on Europe’s secondary
Tour, both finishing top-10 in the lowest scoring event of the season to date.

"DanielFrance’s Damien Perrier took the D & D
Real Czech Challenge title at 24-under for the four rounds with Gaunt T4 at
19-under and Bransdon T7 a shot further back.

Gaunt fired rounds of 70-64-67-68 while
Bransdon signed for 67-68-66-69 in a tournament where the cut came at 5-under
on Friday afternoon.

Keeping bogeys off the card was critical
over the 72 holes and both Bransdon and Gaunt did a good job of that, Bransdon
dropping only four shots for the week and Gaunt five.

NSW Open champion Ben Eccles was also in
the mix through 54 holes but a disappointing Sunday saw him drop well down the
leaderboard.

Starting the final round T9, the Victorian
got off to a bad start with a bogey at the first and never recovered.

An eventual 77 saw him slip to T44, two
ahead of Todd Sinnott (T52) with Ewan Porter the last of the Australians to
play the weekend at 3-under for the week and T63.

Scott Arnold and Dimi Papadatos fell victim
to the low scoring, Arnold making a brave attempt with a second round 68 after
an opening 72 to be just one shot shy while Papadatos never really got going
with scores of 71-72.
