Peter Fowler kept his remarkable run of form going while Peter O’Malley made an impressive debut at the European Senior Tour’s Swiss Open.

Fowler shot an impressive 10-under-par for the week to be T6 and four shots out of the lead while O’Malley was two shots further back and just outside the top-10.

Fowler, who already has two wins and a runner-up finish on his resume this season, continued his impressive run of form with four sub-70 rounds on a course where he has won before.

In a low scoring event the evergreen 56-year-old was never out of the top-10 with rounds of 66-68-66 to be 10-under for the week and pick up a cheque for €11,400.
 
O’Malley also got off to a good start with an opening 67 but was tripped up in the second round by an early double bogey and finished with an even par 70.

His final round 65 was one of the best scores of the day and lifted him to T11 and a good start to his Senior Tour career.

Tim Elliott (T44) and Terry Price (T49) were next best of the Australians with Mike Harwood (T57) and Noel Ratcliffe (T62) finding the going tough.
