The golfing action continues in Western Australia this week
with the TX Civil and Logistics WA PGA Championship in Kalgoorlie.

"JarrydHaving spent two weeks in Perth, players have travelled out to the Kalgoorlie Golf Course for the final tournament on the PGA Tour of Australasia schedule before the winter hiatus.

The young stars on Tour are set to shine this week as they aim to win the $120,000 tournament which also offers Official World Golf Rankings points.

Players to watch this week include:

Jarryd Felton:Representing the new generation of West Australian golfers, Felton has always performed well on the Kalgoorlie Golf Course layout. He first made the trip here for the WA PGA in 2014 as an amateur and finished tied 5th. Felton backed this up with a T10 finish
last year in just his second tournament as a Professional. Returning this year, Felton has recorded his first Professional victory at the NSW PGA Championship and more recently finished tied 5th at the Nexus Risk TSA Group WA Open.

Aaron Wilkin: In just his second year on the PGA Tour of Australasia, Wilkin is a confidence player who is up and about at the moment. Wilkin comes into this week, fresh from a win at the Cottesloe Open, the biggest pro-am in last week’s PGA Pro-Am Series. This follows a runner-up finish
at the South Pacific Export Radler PNG Open a few weeks ago. This is Wilkin’s first time playing on the Kalgoorlie Golf Course which should suit him as he will be able to attack the long layout.

Nick Gillespie: A regular on the PGA Tour of Australasia, Gillespie has been near the top of leaderboard on numerous occasions since turning Pro in 2011. Most recently Gillespie featured at the Nexus Risk TSA Group WA Open two weeks ago where he was well in contention after two rounds.
Coming to Kalgoorlie with good memories, Gillespie has proven his game has what it takes to take on the desert layout after he finished runner-up here following a playoff in 2013. He also had three top-10 finishes on the PGA Pro-Am Series last week.

Rick Kulacz: A two-time Asian Tour winner and a former European Tour player, Kulacz has been in good form recently. A regular on Tour and in events in his home state of Western Australia, Kulacz finished fourth at the Nexus Risk TSA Group WA Open. Following
on from this he recorded three top-10 finishes on the PGA Pro-Am Series.

Darren Beck: A quality player who has already won twice on the PGA Tour of Australasia, Beck has been playing on the Asian Tour since 2008 where he has also recorded a victory. Returning home, Beck has been going quietly about his business on Tour this year but is starting to gain some
attention with top-10 finishes in his last two starts. A proven winner, Beck has experience on his side and if he is in contention come Sunday he certainly knows how to close out a tournament.
