The 56-year-old has been enjoying another stellar year on the European Senior Tour but didn’t have his best stuff at the Golf Club Udine.
Opening with scores of 74-75, the five time Senior Tour winner was behind early but restored some pride with his play Sunday to finish T34.
Terry Price was the only other Australian in the field and he finished three shots behind Fowler and T41.
Like his fellow Australian, Price got off to a poor start with an opening 76 and backed up with scores of 72-73.
