Steve Elkington posted his third top-10 of the Champions Tour season at the Shaw Charity Classic in Canada at the weekend.

The 1995 PGA Champion finished 9-under-par for the three rounds, good enough for a share of ninth position behind winner Fred Couples.

Fellow Australian Peter Senior, however, continued his 2014 struggles with a T73 result.

Senior was over par all three rounds and has now dropped outside the top 40 of the Charles Schwab Cup points list where the top-30 retain cards for next year.
