The Fujitsu
Air Conditioning Morisset Pro-Am on the 5-6 November saw two great players
share the title and the $AU22,000 in prizemoney.

While the
first round greeted the players with blustering winds, a very consistent  Damien Jordan, leader of the Pro-Am Order Of
Merit, lead along with two-time European Tour winner Andrew Dodt.

Jordan and
Dodt fired the low round of the morning with a 3-under 69 and one shot ahead of
Queenslander Sam Daley with a 2-under 70. A shot behind were players Mitchell A.
Brown and former US Tour player James Nitties.

Defending
Champion Troy Cox got off to a tough start ih his title defence and was 4- over
the card and sitting mid-field heading into the second and final round.

On the
final round, the weather conditions showed more mercy and the results showed.
All of the players made attempts to win the purse, but overnight co-leader Dodt
and New South Welshman Neil Sarkies with an amazing 7-under 65 came through.

Sarkies
recently took on the role of Assistant Professional at St Michaels Golf Club in
Sydney and saw his game take off since, showing his best form all season.

"My new job
has taken away a lot of pressure. It’s amazing how relaxed I’ve felt on the
golf course the last two days," said Sarkies.

Dodt and
Sarkies share the 2016 title with respective rounds of 69-70 and 74-65.

One shot
behind was New South Welshman Jacob O’Brien while Brown, Andrew Martin, Leigh
McKennie and Alex Edge finished with 3-under 141.

Dodt will now tee it up in the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia’s NSW Open. He tees off on Thursday 10 November off the 1st tee at Stonecutters Ridge GC at 7.15am alongside Rhein Gibson and amateur Dylan Perry.
