A tough third round has seen Queenslander Andrew Dodt give
up his stranglehold on the top of the leaderboard.

"AndrewLeading after two rounds by three shots, Dodt fired 5-over
77 to now trail Siddikur Rahman by four shots.

The 13th hole continued to plague Dodt who has
doubled the hole in both the second and third rounds.

"On 13 I did the hard part right by
hitting the tee shot in play, but I haven’t felt comfortable with the second
shot all week. Today I paid the ultimate price," said Dodt.

"You have to hit great golf shots out
there and unfortunately I didn’t do that today."

"It’s not until you finish and look at
the scores that you remember how tough it is."

However Dodt is still optimistic about
his chances of winning the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.

"I probably came back down to earth today
after the first two rounds," added Dodt.

"I haven’t played my way out of the
tournament though – I’m still in with a shot."

"I just need to play that
stretch from 13 better if I’m to have a chance."
