Asian Tour veteran Scott Barr will be the lone Australian in the field at this week’s Bangladesh Open.

The tournament is one of the smaller purses on the Asian Tour but Barr, who lost full status at the end of last year and withdrew from the Q-School three weeks ago, needs to take any playing opportunities that come his way.

It will be Barr’s first appearance at the event but with a weaker field than most weeks on the Asian Tour it is a good opportunity to begin working his way back towards full playing status.
