With just five events remaining on the 2014 Asian Tour schedule several Australians in the field for this week’s Manila Masters are playing for their livelihood with only the top 60 money earners for the year guaranteed a card for 2015.

Sam Brazel is 64th on the money list and needing to post some good results in coming weeks while Terry Pilkadaris and Kalem Richardson are 52nd and 53rd respectively and far from comfortable.

Kieran Pratt is 49th on the list and likely to maintain playing privileges.

There are 11 Australians teeing up in Manila this week led by Scott Hend who is currently 6th on the Order of Merit.

Also gaining a start this week is Kalem Richardson whose top five finish at the Chiangmae Classic last week earned him a spot in the field.

Richardson’s good play in Thailand could prove the catalyst for a big finish to his year having already catapulted him into the top 60 and assuring him a place in this week’s field.
