the European Tour Q-School after both qualified at their respective
first stage venues last week.
Drakeford, a finalist at the Australian Amateur in 2012 where he lost to Cameron Smith, shot rounds of 68-72-69-73 at the Frilford Heath course in England to be one of 25 players to advance.
Jager played his event in Portugal and returned rounds of 70-72-72-70 to be one of 24 players to make it through.
Jager was the only Australian in the field in Lisbon while at Frilford Heath Andrew Martin, David Gleeson, David McKendrick, Jonathon Holder and Hamish Macleod all failed to advance.
