""A committee of members from Augusta National Golf Club have finalised the field and their groups for the opening two rounds with honorary starters Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player hitting off the first tee to get proceedings under way this year, the pair the eighth and ninth players to be afforded the traditional role.

Once formalities have concluded, last week’s Shell Houston Open winner Russell Henley and Daniel Summerhays will be the first group to tee off at 8am local time, 10:00pm here in Australia.

Broadcast won’t start in Australia until 4:45am AEST on Fox Sports Australia and Channel 7 however live scores are available at pga.org.au.

Former Masters Champion Adam Scott is the first Australian to tee off at 9:28am (11:28pm Thursday night AEST) alongside America’s Kevin Kisner and Englands Andy Sullivan.

Scott is making his 15th straight appearance at Augusta and will be hoping to replicate 2013’s drought breaking win for Australian’s in the tournament.

World Number 3 Jason Day’s group including Brandt Snedeker and Justin Rose will no doubt have a strong gallery of patrons following them through 18 holes, they begin their campaign at 10:56am 12:56am Friday morning AEST).

Rod Pampling makes his return to Augusta after a 10 year absence, he tees off straight after Day at 11:07am (1:07am AEST) in the only other two ball group this year with William McGirt.

As is tradition at The Masters the US Amateur Champion, Curtis Luck, is matched up with defending Masters Champion Danny Willet. Matt Kuchar completes the marquee group and they’ll begin at 12:24pm (2:24am AEST).

In the second last group to tee off and the final Australian in the field is Marc Leishman together with Bill Haas and young gun Justin Thomas off at 1:52pm (3:52am AEST) just before the final group of Bubba Watson, Dustin Johnson and Jimmy Walker chase the field on course at 2:03pm (4:03am AEST).

Round two will see the field tee off in reverse order before a cut is made at the end of play.
