New Zealand’s James Anstiss has won the inaugural WA HINO Pro-Am at Western Australia Golf Club with a spectacular, blemish free round of 6-under 64.

Taking to the par 70 layout on another perfect Perth afternoon, birdies on the 4^th, 6^th, 12^th, 14^th, 16^th and 18^th holes took Anstiss to a one-shot win as 15 of 26 players scored under par or better.

“These courses are so good over here,” said Anstiss.

“I played really well at Cottesloe over the weekend and just felt good for today. It’s great to get the win.”

Simon Hawkes secured second place with a round of 5-under 65 in what was a rollercoaster round of eight birdies and three bogeys for the Tasmanian.

Once again placing himself among the front-runners, Matthew Millar completed the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series event tied for third place alongside Rory Bouke at 3-under the card.

Brady Watt and Peter Wilson also continued their strong form, tying for fifth place with rounds of 2-under 68.

A further four players including Peter Lonard and Cottesloe Open champion Rick Kulacz rounded out the top-10 on 1-under 69.

The next stop on the WA swing of the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series is The Metal West Lakelands Pro-Am at Lakelands Country Club.
