The Concord Invitational attracted a strong field of 30 professionals headlined by host for the day Craig Parry.
Half the field were coming off Emirates Australian Open campaigns last week and it was interesting to see how they handled the new look Concord Golf Course layout.
The course may of had a new look about it but a familiar face would find himself on top of the leader board. 2016 champion Alex Edge again took out the title with 3-under 68.
“I struggled last week at the Australian Open so I’m pretty surprised to play so well today. I love playing out here on this day and I really enjoyed the new layout,” said Edge.
Tied for runner up was Anthony Summers and Andrew Evans on 1-under 70.
Rounding out the top five was Neven Basic, Andrew Campbell and Steven Jeffress with even par 71.
The NSW/ACT Swing of the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series will move to Campbelltown on Thursday.
